When Shane started school on Monday, it was hard to admit that he’s growing up & going out into the real world- if only the 4-year-old version of it. But there was a huge silver lining: now I get to do some of the fun things I wasn’t able to before he started school, like volunteer in his classroom & make him after-school snacks!

He’s only going to school 3 days a week {for a half day each time} but on those days, I get to ask him about his day & listen to his stories about new friends. I can hear all about what he’s learning- including songs that he sings to me in his sweet little voice. I can fill his belly with his favorites & some of my favorites from my own childhood as well.

Today after school, I had some Kool-Aid popsicles ready & waiting for him! He would have also loved the Kool-Aid as a drink in a glass, but it’s still crazy hot out here & it’s been humid thanks to the on-again, off-again rain. So I figured a popsicle would be a great way to cool off after school!
It’s crazy easy to make them, too- just make your Kool-Aid according to package directions, and fill up whatever kind of popsicle mold you have. Freeze for a few hours & ta-da!
Whether you’re sending a thermos full of Kool-Aid in your child’s backpack or trying to come up with the yummiest afterschool snacks {or drinks to go along with it!}, Kool-Aid has you covered.
What else could you do with a year’s supply of Kool-Aid?

Kool-Aid Frosting // Kool-Aid Ice Cream // Kool-Aid Popcorn //
Kool-Aid Lip Gloss // Kool-Aid Play-Dough // Kool-Aid Snow Cones //
Kool-Aid Rock Candy // Kool-Aid Slushie // Kool-Aid Dyed Yarn
