Ingredients:
Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 29 oz tomato sauce
- 29 oz kidney beans (with liquid)
- 29 oz pinto beans (with liquid)
- 1 cup diced onion (1 medium onion)
- 1/2 cup diced celery (1 stalk)
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper (1/2 pepper)
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 cups water
Instructions:

1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat. Drain off the fat.

2. Add all the remaining ingredients to the pot. Stir to combine.

3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Notes:
Serve with shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream if desired.
