Quick & Easy Air Fryer Peanut Recipe
It is really easy to roast peanuts and flavor them any way you want. This way you know what you are coating your peanuts with. When you look at all those packages a million ingredients are added to give you roasted flavored peanuts which is not very necessary.
You need about a drop of oil to make the seasoning stick better and some of your favorite spices. Roasted with a sprinkle of salt tastes great so you hardly have to add anything special.
This recipe is done in no time so get some raw peanuts and get roasting.

What You Need For This Recipe
To roast peanuts in an Air Fryer you only need a few ingredients. Have the following ingredients ready when you start:
- Peanuts – use raw peanuts
- Seasoning – you can sprinkle the peanuts with your favorite seasoning I like to add taco seasoning but you can also sprinkle with salt
- Cooking spray or olive oil – to let seasoning stick spray peanuts with cooking spray or oil

How To Make Roasted Air Fryer Peanuts
Roasting peanuts in Air Fryer is easy if you follow these steps:
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 320℉/160℃ for three minutes.
- Take a bowl and add peanuts. Spray with cooking spray or add a drop of olive oil.
- Swirl the peanuts to coat the peanuts.
- Add your favorite seasoning (I use taco seasoning) and toss to let the seasoning stick to the peanuts and coat them evenly.
- Now add the raw peanuts to the Air Fryer and roast for 7 minutes.
- Toss the peanuts so they can cook evenly. Return to the Air Fryer and cook for 3 more minutes or until golden brown.
- Take the roasted peanuts out of the Air Fryer and let them cool in a big bowl to room temperature. This will help get them crispier.
- Serve the Air Fryer roasted peanuts immediately or store them.

My Peanuts Are Still Soft After Cooking In An Air Fryer
Let the air-roasted peanuts cool down before serving. While cooling down the peanuts will crisp. While roasting peanuts get soft and natural oils will come out.
This is why you only need a drop of oil to coat your peanuts to season. The softness disappears while the peanuts.

Can You Eat Raw Peanuts?
Yes, you can eat raw peanuts. They have a thin papery skin when they are harvested. Peanuts can be prepared in a variety of ways roasted, deep-fried, blanched, and boiled.
However, peanuts can contain a mold called aspergillum flavus which can cause some serious issues. So, I recommend always roasting or air frying peanuts before consumption.
It is all about personal preference but I recommend cooking peanuts in some way before consumption.

How To Know If Peanuts Are Spoiled?
You can keep peanuts for a long time but they can still go bad. There are ways to determine if peanuts went bad:
- Smell – if peanuts have a different smell, it is a sign that they turned rancid. You can tell if they smell like paint or have a sour smell
- Taste – when peanuts taste different and have a sour or bitter taste it is a sign the peanuts have gone bad
Before consuming start by smelling the peanuts and then sample them to see if they are still good to eat.

How To Store Roasted Peanuts?
You have several options to store your Air Fryer roasted peanuts. First before storing let the peanuts cool completely. This will prevent any condensation which will make peanuts turn soft.
- Room temperature – you can keep roasted peanuts at room temperature. Store them in an airtight container or a glass storage container. You can keep them at room temperature for about a week
- Refrigerator – it is also possible to store your roasted peanuts in the fridge. Use an airtight food container and keep them for about 6 months
- Freezer – if you do not plan on eating them for a long time, store peanuts in the freezer. Put them in a freezer-friendly container and keep them for a least a year or more

How To Revive Stale Peanuts?
If the peanuts have gone stale do not throw them away just yet. You can revive them and you have several ways to do that:
- Air Fryer – preheat the Air Fryer to 300℉/150℃ for 3 minutes. Add the peanuts into the basket, heat for 3 minutes, and let them cool
- Oven – preheat the oven to 325℉/163℃, spread the peanuts on a baking tray, and heat for 5 minutes. Stir to prevent them from turning dark
- Skillet – heat the cast iron skillet to medium and add the stale peanuts so they can toast and crisp up in the skillet. Stir occasionally until the peanuts are warm. Take them out of the pan and let them cool

These roasted Air Fryer Peanuts are the best, seasoning with your favorite flavor or just salt. Golden brown and crunchy in less than 15 minutes. Serve as a snack or use in your recipes. Store for a long time.
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw peanuts
- ½ teaspoon taco seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 320℉/160℃ for three minutes.
