Ingredients:
Main Ingredients
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce (24 oz)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Stir in spaghetti sauce, basil, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.

In a greased baking dish, layer half of the noodle mixture, then half of the meat sauce. Repeat layers.

Top with remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.

Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add your favorite veggies to the meat sauce for extra flavor and nutrition.
