Ingredients:
Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage mild or spicy
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 3 cups kale chopped
- 3 cups potatoes diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 medium onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- to taste salt and pepper
Instructions:

1. In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.

2. In the same pot, add the onion and garlic. Cook until softened.

3. Add the chicken broth and potatoes. Bring to a boil, then simmer until potatoes are tender.

4. Stir in the cooked sausage, kale, and heavy cream. Cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes:
For a spicier soup, use spicy Italian sausage.
