Pineapple Orange Slush

Today is Little Boy #1’s last day of first grade.  So even though it is still technically Spring, Summer is upon me!  Living in Arizona, this is the time when we have to mentally gear up for what is coming.  The boys are signed up for swim team, and I’m making a list of all the fun activities we can do this summer to keep us out of trouble.  Splash parks, children’s museums, jumpy places… you’ve gotta be prepared!

We are super thankful that we live close to grandparent’s who have swimming pools.  We went swimming almost everyday last summer, and I love watching my boys swim.  They can be as hyper as they want, and not get into trouble.  I’ve got to give them an outlet or they will find a way to spend the energy themselves, and mama might not be too happy!

This Pineapple Orange Slush is the perfect poolside drink for this summer!  It is soooo refreshing!  And since poolside equals swimsuit, I decided to make it low calorie too.

And only four simple ingredients – frozen pineapple chunks, rainbow sherbet, orange juice, and lemon-lime soda!  Just put all the ingredients into your blender and give it a whirl!  Have I mentioned that I love my new Blendtec and use it every. single. day?
